Fruity amber tea sweetened with honey. Perfect for a cold winter evening.
3 cups boiling water
4 orange pekoe tea bags
3 cups apple juice
1/3 cup liquid honey
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Ice
Serves 4
Pour boiling water into teapot.
Add tea bags.
Cover.
Let steep for 5 minutes.
Squeeze and discard tea bags.
Combine apple juice, honey and lemon juice in pitcher.
Add tea.
Stir.
Cover.
Chill for 4 to 6 hours until cold.
Makes about 6 cups.
Pour over ice in 4 large glasses.
Serving suggestion:
Garnish with slices of lemon or apple.
