Ingredients make about 16 squares.
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup softened butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 cup golden raisins
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease an 8" square pan.
In a small bowl combine 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar and butter. Stir with a fork until crumbly.
Press mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for 10 minutes to set base, meanwhile beat eggs until foamy.
Beat sugar into eggs, then beat in 1/4 cup flour gradually.
Stir in corn syrup, vanilla and salt.
Fold in the raisins and pour the mixture over the partially baked base.
Return to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden on top.
Cool, then cut into squares. (Will be runny.)
