1/2 lb butter (2 sticks) 225 g
2 cups sugar 475 mL
6 large eggs 6
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour 600 mL
1/4 tsp baking soda 1 mL
1 cup buttermilk 250 mL
8 Hershey candy bars (1.75-oz/50-g) 8
2 tsp vanilla 10 mL
1 cup chopped pecans, floured 250 mL

Cream butter until light and fluffy, gradually adding the sugar.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Add candy bars, vanilla and pecans, rolled in flour until well coated.

Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.

Bake in a 325°F/160°C oven for 75 minutes or until done.
