Chocolate Cherry Cake

2 cups Big Chief granulated sugar
2 cups flour
3/4 cup oil
2 eggs
1 can cherry pie filling
6 ounces chocolate chips
1 cup nutmeats, chopped
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch salt
Servings: 16
Combine all ingredients, leaving cherry pie filling and chips to the end. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350ºF for 1 hour until done. Cool. Sprinkle with Big Chief powdered sugar, or make a glaze to drizzle on cake. This makes a very moist cake.
