1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Servings: 16
1. Preheat oven to 425ºF. In medium bowl, stir together all dry ingredients. In small bowl, beat together remaining ingredients. Pour liquid into dry ingredients, stir just until moistened.

2. Pour batter into greased 8-inch baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly brown. Remove from oven, cool slightly, cut into squares and serve warm.
