Ingredients

12 oz pork sausage (breakfast sausage roll)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup onion
1/4 cup celery
1/4 cup green pepper
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 box long grain wild rice & seasoning packet
2 1/3 cup chicken broth

Directions

1. Brown sausage then drain and set aside.

2. Saute green pepper, onion and celery in same pan sausage was cooked in.

3. Return sausage to pan add poultry seasoning and stir to combine.

4. Add rice and seasoning packet and cook 5 minutes stirring frequently.

5. Add chicken broth, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, cover tightly for 25 minutes until rice is tender and broth is absorbed.
