Light and flaky texture. So easy and quick to make.
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or hard margarine
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
Makes 16 biscuits
Measure flour, baking powder and salt into medium bowl.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Add water and cheese.
Stir to moisten.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2" apart onto greased baking sheet.
Bake in 425F oven for about 15 minutes.
