1 c Raisins 1 c Suet, chopped
1 c Molasses 1 c Milk
1 ts Salt 1 ts Soda
1 x *dissolved in: 1/4 c Water, boiling
1/2 ts Cinnamon 1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Allspice 1/4 ts Cloves
1 x Flour
1 servings
Combine and mix all the ingredients above, adding the dissolved soda last.
Pour into a well-greased mold, cover tightly and steam for 3 hours. Serve
with Brown Sugar Pudding Sauce.
