Heat oven to 425*F
2 cups flour,
4 tsps. baking powder,
2 tbsp. sugar,
1 tsp. salt,
1 1/4 cup medium cheddar cheese,
3 tbsps. finely chopped green onions,
2 tbsps. chopped green peppers,
1/3 cup oil,
3/4 cup milk,
Makes 12
Measure flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir well. Add cheese, onions, and green peppers. Stir lightly to mix.
Add cooking oil, and milk. Stir to mix into a soft ball.
Turn out into a lightly floured surface. Knead 8 or 10
times. Roll or pat to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with 2/1/4 inch round cookie cutter. Arrange on greased baking sheet. Bake in a 425*F oven for 15 minutes.
