1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
4 heaping cups flour
1 lb. lard
1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
Water to make 3/4 cup
cut shortening into dry mixture to consistency of large peas. Add liquid. Will keep in fridge at least 2-3 weeks. Use plenty of flour when rolling out.
Makes 4 pies.
