Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
2 cups flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Cream together sugar and butter in a large bowl. Add eggs, flour, and salt, mixing well. Add strawberries and vanilla extract, continue mixing. Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for about 1 hour or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean, when inserted in center of cake.
