1 cup butter
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans, optional
Servings: 24
1. Preheat oven to 325F. Combine butter, 2 cups flour and powdered sugar till well mixed. Pat evenly into a 13x9x2" pan. Bake 15 minutes.

2. Beat eggs slightly, add the sugar, lemon juice, the remaining 1 tablespoon flour, baking powder (and pecans if using) and stir until well mixed. Pour egg mixture over the baked crust. Bake 40-45 mintues.

3. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Cut into 24 squares.
