Bacon Potato Soup

4 cups diced potatoes
12 ounces canned bacon pieces
1 chopped onion
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chicken broth
1 sliced carrot
2 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
Servings: 6
In 3 quart casserole, combine first seven ingredients. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave on high 13-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender; stirring once. Stir in milk, salt and pepper. Recover. Cook at high 8 minutes or until heated through.
