Caramel Sauce

1 pound brown sugar
1 pound granulated sugar
2 ounces all-purpose flour
1 quart water
8 ounces margarine
1 tablespoon vanilla
Yield: 2 quarts
1. Mix sugars and flour. Stir in water. Boil until thickened.

2. Stir in margarine and vanilla.



Notes: Serve warm or cold over ice cream or apple desserts.
