21 oz can apple pie filling
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons dry chopped onion, (not minced)
1/4 cup hot water
1 sweet red bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 or 3 drops Tabasco
Put apple pie filling into blender and chop briefly but do not puree. Dump into small mixing bowl and stir in vinegar. Set aside. In custard cup
combine dry chopped onion and hot water just till onion is soft and absorbs most of the water. Add to apple mixture along with last 3 ingredients.
Remove 1/2 cup of this to blender. Add 2 tablespoons cornstarch and blend high speed till smooth. Pour into small saucepan and cook, stirring
constantly medium-high till thickened and smooth. Add to apple mixture. Cap tightly and refrigerate to use in 10 days.
