Crock Pot Teriyaki Steak

2 to 2 1/2 lbs boneless chuck steak
1 tsp ground ginger
1 TBSP sugar
2 TBSP canola oil
1/2 cp soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed

Cut steak into 1/8 inch thick slices, combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Place meat in crock pot and pour sauce over all. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve with rice.
