Filling:
one (20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
one (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
Crust:
1 yellow boxed cake mix
1 stick cold butter
Dump cherries and pineapple with juice into a 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle cake over fruit. Slice butter into thin pats and evenly arrange on top of cake mix. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
