Harvest Spice Cake

1 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped apple
1 cup raisins
1 cup walnut pieces
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. allspice

Cream butter, sugar and orange peel until fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Combine dry ingredients.
Combine sour cream and apple.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream mixture to creamed mixture.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Bake at 350F in greased angel food pan, about 1 hour, until done.
Cool 10 minutes.
Turn onto rack to cool.
