1 quart Fresh grapefruit juice
8 ounces Granulated sugar
Yield: 1 1/2 quarts
1. Combine the juice and sugar

2. Process in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's directions.

3. Pack into a clean container and freeze until firm.



Notes: Method: Churned

Variation:

Raspberry Sorbet -- Combine 2.2 pounds (1 kilogram) of puréed, strained raspberries with 1 pound (480 grams) granulated sugar and 1 fluid ounce (30 milliliters) lemon juice.
