Spicy and warming. Use instead of regular vodka when you want to kick things up a notch. Will keep for up to one year, tightly sealed. Makes a great spicy Caesar.

1 1/2 cups vodka
2 tbsp. whole black peppercorns
Serves 12
Combine vodka and peppercorns in sterile glass jar with tight fitting lid.
Let stand at room temperature for 1 week.
Shake gently once a day.
Strain through sieve into storage jar or fancy bottle with tight fitting lid.
Discard solids.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

Spicy Caesar:
Dampen rim of cocktail glass with lime wedge, or dip into lime juice in saucer.
Press into salt in separate saucer until coated.
Pour 2 tbsp. Peppercorn Vodka over ice in glass.
Add clam tomato beverage to fill.
