Serves 6

5oz.dark chocolate,chopped(Perugina by Nestle is good)
1&1/4c.whipping cream
(For added flavor,stir 1-2 tsp.of coffee,raspberry or orange liqeure,or vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture.)


Combine chocolate & whipping cream in a heavy saucepan.Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly,till chocolate melts & mixture is smooth.Remove from heat & cool completely.Cover & chill at least 8 hours.

Just before serving,beat chocolate mixture at med-high speed with an electric mixer till mixture thickens to desired consistency.Spoon into individual dessert dishes.
