A pretty pink drink for Valentine's Day with a creamy strawberry taste. Adults will love it as much as the kids will!
1/2 cup boiling water
3 oz. package of strawberry-flavored jelly powder (gelatin)
2 cups strawberry ice cream
1 cup milk
1/2 cup crushed ice
Serves 4
Pour boiling water into 2 cup liquid measure.
Add jelly powder.
Stir until dissolved.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Transfer to blender.
Process on medium for 1 minute.
Add ice cream, 1/4 cup at a time (about 1 scoop), processing after each addition until smooth.
Add milk and crushed ice.
Process for 30 seconds.
Makes about 4 cups.
Pour into 4 chilled medium glasses.
Variation:
Try other flavors of jelly powder with vanilla ice cream for a new taste experience.
