1 cup fine bread crumbs
1 cup milk
2 lbs. ground beef
1 cup chopped onions
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
3 beef bouillon cubes
3 cups hot water
1 1/2 cups milk
Soften crumbs in milk, add beef, onions, eggs, and seasonings. Mix and shape into 1" balls. Heat butter in large pan, add meatballs and brown on all sides. Remove and stir flour into drippings, blend well. Dissolve bouillon in hot water. Gradually add to pan, stirring until smooth, add milk. Cook stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Add meatballs and simmer 10-15 minutes until sauce is thick.
