Preheat oven at 350*F
1 lb. butter,
1/2 cup cornstarch,
3 cups sifted flour,
1 cup sifted icing sugar,
1 tsp.vanilla.
Cream butter well. Cream in sugar, and cornstarch.
Add flour, and vanilla. Beat with an electric beater
until whipped cream smooth.
Drop by teaspoon full on ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate with a small slice of glazed red or green cherry.
(OPTIONAL) Bake for 12 to 15 minutes,
