4 oz semisweet chocolate chips
16 oz milk
4 oz heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
3 oz rum
2 oz almond liqueur
Whipped cream
4 cinnamon sticks

Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler over barely simmering water. Place the milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Very slowly add about 1 cup of the milk mixture to the melted chocolate and whisk until well mixed. Pour the chocolate mixture back into the remaining milk mixture. Remove from the heat and stir in rum and almond liqueur. Divide the hot chocolate among four heatproof Irish coffee glasses. Top with the whipped cream and add a cinnamon stick to each drink.
