Yield: 3 1/2 cups

Notes: Hoisin sauce is available in the Asian section of your supermarket.
1 (16.9-ounce) package Mrs. T's Frozen Potato and Onion or Potato and Cheddar Cheese Pierogies
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Servings: 4
Boil pierogies according to package directions; drain and keep warm in the saucepan. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine hoisin sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and ground ginger with 1/4 cup water; heat until hot, about 2 minutes. Stir sauce into drained pierogies. Serve hot or at room temperature. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired.
