4 oz. Cognac
1 Pint Black Coffee
Several Cinnamon Stick
5 Sugar Cube
8 Cloves
Place all ingredients, except cognac and coffee, in a brûlot bowl or
chafing dish.
Soften sugar cubes with a little water and mash them into orange
and lemon peels with a muddler.
Add warmed cognac and mix well with other ingredients in bowl.
Ignite and blaze for a few seconds and pour in hot coffee.
Ladle into demitasse cups.
