1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup butter
4 eggs
3/4 cup honey
1 cup roasted and coarsely chopped Oregon hazelnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt

Combine first three ingredients; cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture into greased 12 × 8 × 2-inch pan. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Beat eggs slightly; add remaining ingredients, blend well. Pour over partially baked crust. Bake at 350º for about 25 minutes. Cool to room temperature and cut into bars.
