Recipe Feeder
Ingredients
2 sticks + 2 tbsp. Butter or Margarine
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 Eggs
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cans mandarin oranges, drain , reserve juice and coarse chop the oranges if they are too large
1 cup powdered sugar for glaze
1 tbsp orange juice (up to 4tbsp if necessary)
Directions
cream butter and sugar
add vanilla
add eggs one at a time
Combine dry ingredients gradually by hand with wooden spoon and add to butter/sugar/egg mixture
Stir in the mandarin oranges minus 4 Tbs of the juice ( reserve for icing )
Place in pan( tube or bundt ) bake 350 degrees 60 to 70 minutes or tested done
Cool 15 minutes in pan before removing
Sift powdered sugar into bowl and add orange juice 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Drizzle over cooled cake
