1 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup maple sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Servings: 24
1. Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar and butter in bowl. With fork, mix until consistency of fine corn meal. Press mix into greased 9" × 13" pan. Bake at 350ºF for 15 minutes.
2. Combine 1/3 cup maple sugar, 1/3 cup brown sugar and syrup in small saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over beaten eggs, stirring constantly.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients, except nuts. Pour mix over baked crust. Sprinkle with nuts and bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan and cut in bars.
