Ingredients[/B
  • Four Cups of any Fruit Mix (Roughly chopped eg; Apricots, Cranberries, Dates, Raisins and Strawberries)
  • One Packet of Plain Biscuits (Crushed)
  • 250 Grams of Dark Chocolate
  • 200 Milliliters of Thickened Cream
What kind of Equipment? Not much~!
  • One Big Bowl
  • Two Pots ( One filled with water, the other to melt the Chocolate)
  • One Wooden Spoon or Spatula
  • Baking Paper
  • A Reasonable sized Baking Tin
  • Something Heavy
The Preparation? Easy~!
  1. Prepare your 'Fruit Mix' (and/ or nut mix) in a big bowl. (I prefer chunkier bites of fruit-- yet that's my preference)
  2. Using a food processor/ or a blender blitz up the 'Plain Biscuits' (OR~! You could use my method, of placing the Biscuits in a durable plastic bag and repeatedly hammering it with a roller-pin~ It's good for stress relief)
  3. With a wooden spoon-- Mix the 'Fruit Mix' and 'Plain Biscuits' together~ evenly coating the Fruit.
  4. Fill a pot up with water, place on stove and fit another pot just on top~ Turn the heat to medium and add your 'Dark chocolate' into the empty pot...
  5. While it's slowly melting, line your chosen 'Baking Tin' with 'Baking Paper' (No pre-greasing is necessary)
  6. Add your 'Thickened Cream' into the melted Chocolate~ and Stir.
  7. Pour that divine chocolate substance onto the 'Biscuit coated Fruit Mix' Stir~ and evenly coat.
  8. Tip into your prepared 'Baking Tin' (make sure to really flatten and press it as much as you can)
  9. Fold 'Baking Paper' over and use 'Something Heavy' to press it down with~ Leave to cool then refrigerate overnight.
  10. Unwrap~! Cut a slice for yourself and enjoy, before your family demolish it before your very eyes!
Please remember moderation is the key~ and why should we deny ourselves something so temptingly good? ...After all Once and awhile we need a little luxury to treat ourselves with~

I hope you enjoy~ this simple and very versatile recipe~!
