Recipe Feeder
Chili
1 pound lean ground beef
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 large white or yellow onion, minced
3-4 jalapenos, seeded, minced
3-4 gloves garlic, minced
6 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1½ teaspoons cayenne pepper
2-3 cups water (use more water for thinner chili)
2 tablespoons masa
½ cup warm water
salt and pepper to taste


1. In a large skillet or soup pot, brown together both meats, onion,
jalapeno and garlic; drain. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt,
cayenne and 2-3 cups water. Simmer for 30 minutes.

2. In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix together masa and ½ cup
warm water. Stir into chili mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer at least another 30 minutes.

3. You may simmer for several hours, just be sure to stir at least
every 30 minutes. Enjoy!
