¾ cup Flour, Sifted
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
4 tablespoon Butter
4 tablespoon Milk, Evaporated
¾ cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
½ teaspoon Vanilla
4 tablespoon Walnuts, Broken Into Pieces

Sift together onto a piece of paper the flour, baking powder, and salt. Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in evaporated milk, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Add flour mixture all at once and mix until smooth. Fold in nuts.

Spread in greased square pan. Bake in 350f for 30 minutes, or until it pulls from pan. Cool in pan. Cut into two inch squares.
