1/2 Classic White Bread Dough (freshly made or thawed)
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup chopped dates
Servings: 12
1. Roll dough to 15- × 12-inch rectangle; brush with melted butter or margarine. Sprinkle evenly with sugar mixed with ground cinnamon and chopped dates. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 30 to 45 minutes

2. Bake at 375ºF for 30 minutes or until done. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Frost with Powdered Sugar Icing (see Cinnamon Twists recipe) if desired.
