Lentil Sage or Mushroom Onion Field Roast patties
HERBACEOUS BURGER MARINADE
2 cups olive oil
1 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoon mixed dried herbs, Italian-style
1/3 cup fresh garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper
Notes: The trick to making
1. Prepare marinade and mix well.
2. Place patties on sheet pan and brush with marinade using pastry brush.
3. Place patties on really hot grill or griddle. Brush top side with marinade.
4. Turn patties when adequately marked (remember Field Roast is pre-cooked so all you are doing is heating them up and giving them the flavor of the grill).
5. IMPORTANT: Brush display side AGAIN with marinade before taking off the grill.
a good Field Roast burger is using plenty of marinade and heat! The whole process should not last more than 3 minutes if your grill is hot enough. Remember to keep your burgers moist with marinade.
