Lemon-Herbed Steak

16 ounces boneless beef top loin steaks (approximately 1 pound), cut 1 inch thick
Salt

SEASONINGS
1 large garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Servings: 4
1. In small bowl, combine seasoning ingredients; press into both sides of beef steaks.

2. Place steaks on grid over medium ash-covered coals. Grill uncovered 16 to 18 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.

3. Trim fat from steaks. Carve steaks crosswise into thick slices; season with salt, as desired.


Start to finish: 25 minutes

Serving Ideas: Serve with vegetables.
