Makes 6 side dish servings

1 cup elbow or shell pasta
1 cup light dairy sour cream
1/4 cup low fat mayo or light salad dressing[lite miracle whip]
2 tsp dijon mustard
1-2 tsp skim milk
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1 sliced green onion
1/4 cup diced or shredded cheddar cheese

cook pasta according to direction[omit oil]. Drain and rince in cold water.

in medium bowl stir together; sour cream, mayo, mustard, 1 tsp of milk, and black pepper.

mix pasta, gr.pepper, carrot and onion into dressing. toss to coat. stir in cheese, chill for 3 hours. to moisten salad use 1 tsp milk before serving.
