Sesame Marinade and Dressing

3 tablespoons dry sherry
3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon Oriental dark-roasted sesame oil
Servings: 8
Combine dry sherry, soy sauce, wine vinegar, hoisin sauce and ginger; mix well. Reserve 1/3 cup sherry mixture for marinade in Japanese Steak Salad. To prepare dressing, combine remaining sherry mixture with water, green onion, sugar and sesame oil; mix well.

Notes: For dressing, servings are per 12 - 1 tablespoon portions. For marinade, servings are per 5 tablespoon portions.

Serving Ideas: Serve dressing with Japanese Steak Salad.
