1 cup canned unsweetened coconut milk
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1/2 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
1/3 cup (packed) chopped shallots
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp chopped peeled fresh ginger
2 stalks lemon grass, chopped
1 tsp salt
Combine the following in a food processor and soak either chicken or pork overnight. This is excellent on a grill:
