For breakfast tomorrow, here are some easy waffle variations. Enjoy.

Recipe 1
Ingredients;
1 and 1/2 cups whole wheat or all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
5 tbs. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 and 1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbs. melted butter
2 large eggs
1 and 1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup blueberries, raisins, diced apple, dates, or whatever fruit suits your fancy.

Preheat waffle iron.
Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter and the eggs. Add the milk to the egg/butter mixture. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Fold in the fruit.

Brush the waffle grids with cooking oil and spoon the batter into the waffle grids. Close the lid and cook on the medium high setting of the waffle iron, or until the light goes out. For something different, you can optionally serve with American cheese slices melted on top, and syrup. If you don't want to try the cheese, top with butter, honey, jam, or syrup. Of course, really good sausage goes great with the waffles.
