A popular drink. Spices can be increased or decreased according to personal taste.
3 cups clam tomato beverage (such as Clamato)
1/2 cup vodka (4oz)
1/2 - 1 tsp. prepared horseradish
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Ice
4 pickled asparagus spears, for garnish
4 small lemon (or lime) wedges, for garnish
Serves 4
Measure first 5 ingredients into 4 cup liquid measure.
Stir.
Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
Pour over ice in 4 medium glasses.
Garnish each with asparagus spear.
Place lemon wedge on rim of each glass.
Virgin Spicy Caesar:
Omit vodka.
Spicy Bloody Mary:
Omit clam tomato beverage.
Use same amount of tomato juice.
Salt and Pepper Caesar:
Omit vodka.
Use same amount of Peppercorn Vodka.
Serving suggestion:
Dampen rims of glasses with lemon (or lime) wedge, or dip into lemon (or lime) juice in saucer.
Press rims into celery salt in seperate saucer.
