1/5 pound ground chuck
1 large sesame seed bun
1 Tablespoon Kraft® mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Heinz® hamburger relish
1/4 cup chopped iceberg lettuce
2 Valasic hamburger slices
1 slice American cheese
salt and pepper
1. In a small container, mix the mayonnaise with the relish to make the "secret sauce". Refrigerate and set aside.
2. On a sheet of waxed paper, form the 1/5 pound beef patty from the ground chuck. It should be about 1/4 inch thick and 5 inches in diameter.
When it is sufficiently shaped, place it in the freezer, and freeze it for at least an hour.
3. Fire up and indoor electric grill, or outdoor barbecue. Allow the grill to preheat.
4. Toast the buns by laying them face down on the grill for 30-60 seconds, or until they are crisp and golden. If you have a bun warmer, place the
buns inside to keep them warm. Otherwise, just set them aside.
5. Cook the frozen beef patty about 2 minutes per side, or until the patty is blackened and thoroughly cooked. Carefully make sure it is done. A
meat thermometer may be used, but certainly isn’t necessary. Salt and pepper both sides of the patty with salt and pepper while it is still on the grill.
6. Turn the top bun (the crown) upside-down and add the following dressings in the order given:
special sauce
pickles
lettuce
cheese
7. Place the cooked beef patty on top of the dressed bun, and add the bottom. Turn the burger right side up.
8. Wrap the finished burger in a 12"x12" sheet of foil, and warm in your oven (200°) 2-3 minutes.
