1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. salt
1 small clove garlic, crushed
In small saucepan, heat all ingredients to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes.
Makes about 3/4 cup
Hot Mustard Sauce:
Blend 2 tbsp. dry mustard, 2 to 3 tbsp. water and 1 tsp. soy sauce.
About 1/4 cup.
Horseradish Sauce:
Beat 1/4 cup chilled whipping cream. Fold in 1 tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. well-drained horseradish and 1/4 tsp. salt.
