Recipe Feeder
Ingredients:
Preparation of Masala:
- Pastry sheet - 1 pack
- Medium size potato - 1 (cooked and mashed)
- Green chilly -1
- Green Peas - 3 tbsp
- Onion - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves - a few
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Egg white from one egg
- Salt to taste
Preparation of Masala:
- Pastry sheets are available in any of the stores from the frozen section
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds
- Once they splutter add onions and saute
- Now add the ginger garlic paste, green chillies and keep tossing
for a few seconds followed by red chilly powder and garam masala - Now add the mashed potato, peas and some salt
- Combine them well. Sprinkle some coriander leaves and mix it
- Remove from heat
- Now cut the pastry sheets as shown in the picture
- Fill them with masala and fold it. Keep less masala to avoid them coming out of the pastry sheet while baking.
- Seal it with egg white and keep it in an oven tray
- Preheat oven at 350°F and keep the puffs inside for 30 - 40 minutes
- Keep checking it every 15 minutes
- Once they become golden brown colour remove from oven
