1 1/4 lb Ground chuck or round
1 sm Onion, minced
1 cl Garlic, minced
1/4 c Italian bread crumbs
1 Egg
1 tb Brown sugar
14 oz Jar chili sauce
1/4 c Grape jelly
Combine ground chuck, onion, garlic, brown sugar, egg and bread crumbs. Shape by
hand into two small loaves and place in a shallow baking dish. Bake at
350-degrees until cooked through, about 1 hour or less. Meanwhile, combine chili
sauce and grape jelly in a small saucepan until the jelly melts and blends. Set
aside.
When the meatloaves are done, drain the grease from the pan and pour the chili
sauce mixture over the meat loaves. Place in a 350-degree oven and bakes another
20 minutes or until the sauce bubbles.
