1/2 pound sirloin steak, sliced into 1/5"x 2" strips
2 large broccoli stalks, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup carrot strips, parboiled for 2 minutes
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large onion, cut into strips
2 tablespoons soy sauce, more to suit taste
1 cup water
1 package Oriental flavor instant ramen noodles
1. Heat oil in large skillet. Add beef strips and stir-fry for 5 to 8 minutes or until just done. Add onion and parboiled carrots; continue to cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Add broccoli and water. Return to heat and cook approximately 6 minutes longer, just until broccoli is tender. Remove from heat. Mix in soy sauce to taste.
2. Serve over oriental "Ramen" noodles which have been cooked according to package directions. Fresh or frozen cauliflower may be added with the broccoli.
