can anyone please give me a few cleaning tips?
Vinegar is great for laundry and removing odors. Just dump a cup or so of white vinegar into the wash load along with detergent. Vinegar in a spray bottle will clean your mirrors and sinks and counters, and even your toilet. Never mix vinegar and bleach. The result is a toxic gas. Baking soda is great for removing counter stains and shining up pots and pans. Just sprinkle it on and use a damp cloth to scrub. Blood stains can usually be removed with hydrogen peroxide. Just soak the stain and watch it bubble away. Put a dryer sheet in the bottom of your trash cans to help control odor. Cleaning a little bit every day is a lot easier and more pleasant than waiting until it builds up. (For example, do your dishes every night if possible, or at least rinse them off and put them in the dishwasher. Otherwise the food will dry and sitck and it will take twice as long to do them). Keep a "chuck-it bucket" on a counter where you tend to leave stuff lying around. Put it in the bucket (or pretty basket with a cover) instead. Once a week or when the bucket is full, put things where they belong and throw out any stuff you don't need.
