can anyone please give me a few cleaning tips?

Vinegar is great for laundry and removing odors. Just dump a cup or so of white vinegar into the wash load along with detergent. Vinegar in a spray bottle will clean your mirrors and sinks and counters, and even your toilet. Never mix vinegar and bleach. The result is a toxic gas. Baking soda is great for removing counter stains and shining up pots and pans. Just sprinkle it on and use a damp cloth to scrub. Blood stains can usually be removed with hydrogen peroxide. Just soak the stain and watch it bubble away. Put a dryer sheet in the bottom of your trash cans to help control odor. Cleaning a little bit every day is a lot easier and more pleasant than waiting until it builds up. (For example, do your dishes every night if possible, or at least rinse them off and put them in the dishwasher. Otherwise the food will dry and sitck and it will take twice as long to do them). Keep a "chuck-it bucket" on a counter where you tend to leave stuff lying around. Put it in the bucket (or pretty basket with a cover) instead. Once a week or when the bucket is full, put things where they belong and throw out any stuff you don't need.

Take out the trash every night, turn off the light when you get out of the rooms to save energy. Use a baking soda box (opened) in the refrigerator for bad odors, up to three to six months after that replace it with a new one. you can use the old box to clean your bath tub, toilet, sink etc...

Tips for cleaning a household please! (As a job), as I have no prior experience?

There are so many variables here. Some people may provide their own cleaning supplies, others will want you to bring your own. Think about how clean you want your own place and provide that service. Start at the top of a room and work down, that way dust and cobwebs fall on the floor. Vacuum, or sweep and mop last. Every customer will be different, some may want you to do second story outside windows for instance. A one-off sounds like a one-time clean. Like someone needing someone to clean up the house before or after the holidays, not a permanent gig.If someone calls and wants to talk over the duties, make sure you have a checklist of questions. "Do you want me to pick up everything, or is that pile of magazines to save?""How often would you like your floors waxed?""Do you have any preference in cleansers, like organic?" Things like that.

Cleaning tips please help me?!?!?!?

Go around the room in a clockwise direction, decide whether to dump, donate, recycle, or put away the items. If you put away items, make sure they have a home. Use baskets if you do not have a lot of storage. Stay focused on the clockwise cleaning direction to not get side tracked. After everything is organized, clean the elevated areas with a dust rag and last thing you do is vacuum or sweep (vacuum is preferred because sweeping just stirs dust around).

What is a good routine or tips on how to keep a house clean?

Well, both of you have to do housework; he's not exempt because he's male. Each of you should spend at least 5 minutes each day straightening things up and putting things up.Whenever you use the sinks in the bath or kitchen, wipe water splashes immediately, as well as wipe the mirror if it's splashed. Keep the sinks well rinsed of toothpaste, hair, food particles, etc.Keep the kitchen clean at all times... do the stove each time you've cooked on it so nothing gets burned on, wipe countertops each time the kitchen is used.Vacuum dog hair at least every other day or get a Swifter dust mop and use it between vacuumings.

What is a good routine or tips on how to keep a house clean?

In order to stay on top of housecleaning, it is essential for us to have a routine. Every situation is different, so the routine that works for your mother, sister, or friend may or may not work for you. But we can all create our own routines to make housecleaning easier.* Tackle one room at a time. Many of us don't have an entire day to dedicate to house cleaning every week. Doing one room at a time allows us to break the work up into smaller chunks while still accomplishing something noticeable. One or two rooms each day should allow us to get the whole house clean in a week's time.* Do one task at a time, but do it for the whole house. This is another effective way to break the work up. For example, you could dust the entire house from end to end and be done with it. Then you could move on to sweeping or vacuuming. Doing things this way will save time by eliminating a lot of the "stop and go" as well.* Try grouping certain tasks together to multitask. Chores like doing the laundry do not require constant attention, so you can do other things while we're waiting for the clothes to be washed and dried. Once the first load is finished, we can fold or iron clothes while waiting for the next load.* Break larger tasks up into smaller ones if they become too monotonous. Some of us have rooms that it seems to take forever to clean, or certain chores that we just hate to do. Breaking them up into smaller, more manageable parts might help us get them done. For example, if you despise cleaning the bathroom, you could clean the shower and then go work on something more enjoyable for a while. Then you can come back later and tackle something else, and repeat until the whole bathroom is clean.* Put on some upbeat music to keep yourself motivated. Listening to music you love can make any task more pleasant, and something with a good beat will keep you moving. You might even find yourself dancing as you clean.*Make a schedule. Whichever plan works for you, writing it down on a calendar will help you stick to it. You can put it in a household notebook or just add it to your regular calendar. It will help hold you accountable to your routine.Having a routine is a great way to do anything more efficiently. This is especially true for housecleaning. You may have to experiment a little at first, but finding a routine that works for you will pay off. You'll be able to get your house clean in less time, and you might even start enjoying it more.

dose any one know quick cleaning tips?

Start in the kitchen. Soak the worst dishes in hot and soapy water. Then move on to the bathroom. Squirt stuff into the toilet like "Lysol Cling", let that soak. Squirt the faucets with some sort of disinfectant and let that set for a few minutes. Meanwhile, sweep the floor, clear out the clothes, etc. Go back to the kitchen, sweep that floor, pick up the trash on the counters, etc. Basically in each room, you have to soak, sweep, pick up trash before you can actually "clean". The kitchen and bathrooms always seem to be the worst. The living room is the same routine, pick up trash first, put dirty clothes in the laundry...THEN you can dust and vacuum. Usually having someone help you out will give you motivation. After it's clean, she'll probably feel guilty when you come over if she's let it go. She needs to make a habit of daily cleaning, just small things that will go a long way. Not everyone has the "clean gene", myself included. Sometimes it takes someone else to get you going before you keep it up.

dose any one know quick cleaning tips?

I think you should introduce her to Flylady. You are a great sister, for cleaning her house for her, but it will just go back to what it was, if she doesn't learn how to take care of it herself.http://flylady.net/The flylady program teaches you how to get your life in order. It is wonderful. I have used it for almost 2 years, and it has really helped me. She teaches you how to set up routines, and keep your house neat and orderly, starting you off with little babysteps.

I just went back to work full time and I need cleaning tips!!!?

Learn to overlook a lot. Do the things that are absolutely necessary like the washing and cooking and let the other stuff slide. Dust never hurt anyone, and you can mop the floors every two weeks and change the sheets after two weeks. Come home, cook and clean up the kitchen and do a load of clothes and stop. Put a load of clothes on to wash when you leave in the morning and dry them when you get home. The husband can fold and put up clean clothes and if he does not want to help with dishes, get a dishwasher. As long as the house is not nasty, don't worry about it. Really, if it won't matter a year from now, let it go.
